If the paralysis, paresis, or enforced immobility of peripheral muscles is restored and prolonged, those attached corpuscles will be "the biter bitten" as they encounter and suffer the same ischaemic necrotic fate as the endothelia.

NOTE the button to image repetition of this process at approximately hourly intervals INDEFINITELY [or as long as non-pulsatile circulation persists]. This will progressively "build up" successive layers of would-be scavenger corpuscles on the "corpses" of those that preceded them.

NOTE that the mobility of a valve cusp must be progressively impaired ["stiffened"] as the mass of WBC dies within VVP and is then likely to present a "concrete" obstruction to the passage of blood cephalad, as it was designed to do caudad.
